KEMH Recruitment Process

Recruitment and selection processes for King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women (KEMH) positions are based on the principles of the Public Sector Standards in Human Resource Management and the Public Sector Code of Ethics. Our processes also reflect the commitment of the Department of Health (DOH) to the care and protection of children and young people.

The recruitment process for KEMH positions is managed on our behalf by Health Corporate Network (HCN) and enquiries about the advertising of positions, information on how to apply and about the progress of applications should be directed to HCN.

Vacant KEMH positions may be advertised in a variety of media including The West Australian newspaper (typically on Saturdays), KEMH Internet/Intranet sites, notice boards etc. Note: In some cases, temporary deployment opportunities will be advertised only within the relevant department/directorate. In these cases, the job vacancy will not appear in other media.

A listing of currently advertised KEMH vacancies appears on the WA Government Jobs Board at www.jobs.wa.gov.au. This website provides information about all WA public sector vacancies, including vacancies at other health services, and provides the facility for applicants to apply on-line.

You can view all current KEMH vacancies from the 'Job Search' page of the WA Government Jobs Board by selecting ' WNHS - Women and Newborn Health Service' under the 'Health Service' heading, and clicking on the 'Search' button.

By clicking on the title of any vacancy posted on the Jobs Board, the complete job advertisement will open. From within this advertisement you can get the application kit which contains all the information needed to apply for the position.

At the bottom of the advertisement there is an ‘Apply for Job’ button. You must have your current resume/curriculum vitae and statements addressing the selection criteria completed and ready to attach prior to clicking on this button.
