Outpatients during COVID-19

We have made significant changes to the way we carryout outpatient appointments during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Whilst many of the restrictions across WA have eased, it is important we continue to be vigilant.

Those outpatients who need to come to the hospital for appointments are strongly encouraged to bring only one adult person to their appointment. Where possible, coming alone is preferred.

Please note the ultrasound department do not allow any visitors during their ultrasound appointments.

Many of our outpatient clinics will continue providing telephone consultations or telehealth consultations where possible. In addition, if you are in the early stages of pregnancy and would like to reduce the amount of time you spend in clinics at KEMH, consider GP Shared Care with a local GP  or alternatively, contact our Community Midwifery Program for an update on availability.

If you have concerns about coming into clinic, please call our Clinic Manager on 6458 2222 to see if you qualify for an alternative method.  Information about the KEMH Creche is available here.
